Great size bag and vey versatile for the things I like to pack, and the utility on and off the bike. Look forward to adding other components to it in the future.
Srdjan S.
The bag arrived on time without any problems. The bag looks nice and is made of material that will last of years, has plenty of tying options and is easy to put on and take off(maybe too easy because thieves can take it off and therefore need a cable lock). Customer service is excellent, fast communication and respond 5 star .
There are no major complaints maybe some rubber on the bottom so that it does not move in some cases(otherwise it is stable) and it takes some time for the insert to take shape. All in all I'm happy with the purchase and the quality of the bag
ANTONIO G.
Yes, it is expensive but has the top quality, a lot of laces to get complete customization. Surely I'll buy again from Lone Rider!
Martin R.
I can carry a load of stuff now without needing a rack
Shawn D.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND - I have used this now on a 1500 mile motorcycle trip in place of a top box and have used it as luggage on a cruise ship. It's my new go-to bag. It's 100% waterproof, holds its shape and seems to hold even more than the specs suggest.
Michael K.
The bag works as it should. Quality construction with well thought out attachment points. No regrets with this purchase.
Paulo c.
Great bag, seems solid, inner linning needs a little elbow grease to push into position but when it is in, it holds the shape nicely.
Buckles and straps are good.

I have been looking for a truly waterproof bag for a while. So happy to have found the Overlander, my things stayed dry in days of heavy rain. The bag fits easily and tightly to my motorcycle. Love the extras like small zippered pockets and the bright red interior. Helping me stay organized and find what I am searching for.
DAVID G.
This bag was easy to install on my bike. The buckle system held the bag secure through numerous trails of various difficulty. This also held secure during the occasional unintentional BIKE exit. Very happy very satisfied with product.
Ioanna C.
Very spacious & convenient!

Super sac pour la route, mais en offroad j ai eu les lanières qui tiennent le sac se détachés, j en ai perdu 3 sur 4. Heureusement que j avais une spanset.
Mike K.
High quality product, highly recommend the Overlander!
Domenico R.
Super consigliata

I just returned from a 30 day trip to the Arctic Ocean from the Midwest of the USA. All my Lonerider gear performed well. Even with a slow speed spill going downhill on gravel I had not even a sign that it hit the ground
Monnix J.
Used a couple times it as a weekend bag (not motorcycling). On the ID-BDR now and it holds all my clothes and fits great as the top bag for my Mosko Moto Reckless 80. Easy to get into, can attach things to it…has some leeway as to how much can be fit into it.
Shawn K.
I have the 30L bag and it is great to use since I abhor top boxes. From the pictures the bag is not entirely full but holds all the gear that I need. I use the Steelcore strap to secure it when I am away from the bike. Both bag and strap are great products.
Phillip
The build quality of this bag is unreal. The red insert was super hard to squeeze in, but I've wrestled it into place now. I really appreciate the pockets and pouches that are placed in smart areas and aren't overdone. Very happy with this bag, shipping was super fast, looking forward to a tank bag next.

Super service après vente
merci

Truly fantastic gear. I am a happy man
Danny W.
Great bag. I’ve used the 30 liter for a few years now. Even though it was out of warranty, the air valve failed, and they replaced it with a new one. I’ve used this bag for dual sport camping and just recently used it on a 5000+ mile Harley tour and it has worked great. Good solid product and a great company to do business with.

I finally saved up the money to get my first real adventure bag from Lone Rider and I am not dissapointed at all. the big fit everything I need and more for a 3 day ride to Fort Nelson BC and back. It was easy to mount on the bike the morning of the ride and didn't move at all during the whole trip. I will be adding more Lone Rider gear to my bike as time progresses!
James M.
Great bag! Fit everything for a couple day trip through Alberta and BC and kept it all dry! Excellent product, very high quality, highly recommend!
Timothy N.
Used on HD Street Glide FLHXS right out the gate on a 3100 mile trip. Bag works flawlessly when paired with a two-up rack. Clip on, tighten and go. Get to your destination, unclip and download. Watertight and with great capacity. I paired it with a python master lock instead of the suggested lock brand. Works well. The beaver tail is insanely slick. We did Sandwhich another dry bag inbetween it and the overlander and it works stupendously. So much space the be had one should consider overpacking and weight distribution. 10/10 strongly suggest this over a tourpack.

Very nice e bags for long trips I advise everyone to take for long ride

Tellement pratique que c’est devenu mon sac de voyage pour toute occasion, peu importe le véhicule
Byron K.
Love The versatility of this bag and the different ways it can be mounted onto my bike.
Douglas P.
I bought this bag for a European trip instead of buying a top box for my GSA. The overall quality of the bag is great, the ease it straps to the bike and releases is great. Very waterproof. I rode through heavy rain at times and everything was dry inside.
My only regret is not buying the bigger on.
Javier P.
It's a great product, highly recommended, it's durable and great looking.
Frédéric B.
The only bad thing about it on the new GS1300 without the top case plate is that bag to be attach correctly it go on the back seat
Dennis P.
Love the Lone Rider Top Bag.. road in the rain to Bella Coola BC , thru some heavy rains and all my belongings stayed perfectly dry..
Benjamin P.
Einfach genial der Overlander. Und auch super schnelle Lieferung. Evtl. könnte man aber das rote Inlay mit einer Perforation versehen, dann kann man es leichter knicken und es passt dann besser an den Klett?.
Danke ;-)

First LonerRider bag I have purchased. I have other products from LoneRider, and all of them are great quality. This duffle is no different!! It is incredibly well designed. I'm sure I will be purchasing more luggage from LoneRider in the near future. Scott
Hugo H.
I love this bag! It’s well made and well thought out. It use is for grocery runs on the bike and camping. Love the top access, where everything is visible and accessible.
John P.
There are so many ways to use the variety of straps that come with the Overlander that had me wondering to what extent I’d need to make use of them, but as it turned out my 30 liter bag had more room in it than I needed to pack the items which I couldn’t allow to get wet. I only needed four simple attachment points to my side bags and the center strap over the top. It took a little more effort than I had expected to insert the stiffening inner plate because I was reticent to reshape it at first, but by creasing two 90 bends it finally settled into the bottom of the bag - and is quite bright improving visibility of the contents of your bag especially with smaller items. It’s obvious there was a great deal of thought put into this design. I tucked it behind my seat on my KLR650 and used it to attach other items onto my bike for a 1,100 mile ride through high desert country and mountain passes. The handles and backpack straps made it easy to haul into my hotel along with my other bike luggage whenever I wasn’t camping. I find myself still using it instead of my small suitcase as I continue my travel here this summer.
Zsombor K.
Je suis très contente après 2 semaines de voyage en tout conditions!! ️
William F.
Really like this bag. Super versatile. Many ways to attach to your bike. Great materials. Seems very high quality.
Nathan S.
Just took this bag (along with a Kriega US-20 daypack and the Kriega bottle holder) on my Triumph Scrambler on a 640km road trip and the bag held up superbly. I got the recommended locking cable which added a serious sense of security and got caught in 3 torrential downpours along the way and everything in the bag stayed super dry. The molle straps were great for allowing me to add on the extras mentioned above so I was able to tailor my experience. I'd recommend this bag to anyone who would ask for a recommendation. Also because you strap the bag down, and it's so secure, my partner was able to lean back on the bag and feel relatively secure on a bike with no backrest (triumph scrambler).
John K.
Great high quality piece of kit and just the right size for my personal stuff and fits on my top box perfectly. All my gear is lone rider for a reason and thousands of miles later it’s all still in great shape!
Dave H.
So far, the bag has been great. I look forward to using it.
Emmanuel C.
Je suis très satisfait de mon achat et de la qualité du produit qui est arrivé rapidement en revanche un peu déçu, avec trois achats, de ne pas avoir trouvé quelques goodies dans le carton
Matthew K.
Love the 48L so much I went and bought the 30L. Great bag, a week of riding in the rain, the bike and my gear sitting out in the rain nothing got wet. It is quick to put on the bike and quick release!
Timothy T.
Great dry bag. I initially bought the 48L bag and liked it so much that I went ahead ordered the 30L bag for those shorter trips.
Nicholas C.
I use the 30L Overlander with two, 6L Mini Bags as my main camping gear bag when touring on my 1250GS. The Overlander holds my camping gear and I use the two, 6L Minibags in place of a tail bag for items I may need to get to during the ride. The Overlander is the perfect duffel. It's built like a tank. Stays solid on the bike with no movement even through off road obstacles and sandy hill climbs. Tough material, waterproof, sand and dirt proof, with a huge amount of attachment points for additional bags and items. Easy and fast to remove when I get to camp, I can set it down next to my tent site and set camp up without a lot of travel back and forth to the bike. Makes camp set up fast. It's my go to duffel for all my adventure rides.
Wayne M.
I love these bags. Haven't had a long trip yet (doing 5 weeks starting next week), only short rides so far but I have no doubts they will perform. I didn't see a lot of photos of these mounted to the top of side cases and wasn't sure how well that would work so I've uploaded these for other over packers who are on that quest. It works well. With two Overlanders I've added 60 litres to the sides now and along with the 90 litre dry sack squeezed between them I can comfortably overpack lol. I've ridden with them fully packed and the weight is fine (tent, hammock, sleeping bag, light stuff up top). Loaded up the molle panel inside the beaver tail with assorted bags and pouches for all the quick reach stuff (light, visor cleaner, ear plugs, etc.) For those in search of a decent size bottle holder (I understand the Lone Rider model is small) I went with a Yeti and it mounted fine with malice straps on the outside, easy to reach. Really pleased with my set up now and these bags made it possible, smart design. Don't know who designed these but seems obvious they were put together by riders, for riders.
Jacob C.
First and foremost… this is a fantastic bag. It has numerous features that make it the best moto-duffle I’ve owned. To and a few: hand/shoulder straps that work perfectly, a molle panel to cover them when not in use, a valve system to burp out excess air and the semi ridged panel… all fantastic.
Four stars for one simple design choice that doesn’t work for me. The straps that receive the buckles for the roll top closure (like most dry bags have) are mounted too high and or can’t be pulled short enough. If the bag isn’t full to the brim, the non rigid sides don’t support the edge of the roll top and the ends can’t be pulled down taught like on an Ortleb style bag.
The result of this is the bag is not as secure at its ends. And because I run my moto bag lengthwise on my bike (using the luggage plate and passenger seat area) rather than having the edge of the bag in the small of my back as lumbar support, I have a semi-secure edge poking me in the back. My solution was to add two additional interior panels, making the closure sit flush and snug. A better solution would be to secure these straps to the base of the bag so you truly have options for how long you want them to be based on the bag being full, or semi-full.
Keep up the great work Lone Rider.

Great product fits perfect

Vale tutti i soldi spesi fino all'ultimo centesimo!
Alfred S.
Good, flexible bag. High quality.

I pondered for a long time before buying the Overlander 48l bag, as it comes with a hefty price tag. However, after my purchase and a trip across Europe, I want to say that the bag is worth every penny spent. Firstly, everything is made with high quality – the material, fastenings, and straps. Secondly, attaching the bag to the motorcycle became much easier and quicker. Thirdly, in terms of size, the bag is approved for carry-on in airplane cabins. I've taken 8 flights with it, and there were no issues (at least with airlines such as Tap Portugal, LOT, Lufthansa, Air Canada). What was important to me is that the bag accommodated everything I needed for my European trip, including business meeting attire. Carrying it as a backpack through airports was a bit challenging, but the bag wasn't designed for that. Happy with my purchase. Let's see how it holds up over the years.

Facilité de commande, efficacité de la livraison. J'ai bien aimé.
J'ai donc commandé d'autres produits Lone Rider.

I'm loving my Overlander 48 waterproof bag. It's a huge improvement over other tail bags I have used in the past and more waterproof than my tank bag or BMW hard bags. Highly Recommended.

Hello Lone Riders! I like this bag a lot because i can put inside all of my camping equipment. The built quality is very good and the MOLLE webbing has a perfect fit for my medical kit.The material of the bag seems very durable.I haven't tested if it is waterproof yet,but i'm sure that it wiil hold up.I also like that you can quickly detach the bag and carry it like a backpack.I really appreciated the valve releasing the air. The only negative is that it has two long straps with a loop at the end, i'd prefer four. It fitted perfectly on my HONDA cb500F. Thanks LR!

The bag is very well made, looks durable. The straps allow for different configurations. The inner lining is a bit difficult to install and has an oval shape son the bag rocks back and forth, it could come pre molded with square corners.
William W.
Purchased product and installed on GSA. It’s winter time here so I have not used much but was asked to review. Fitment is great. Many options to make sure the bag is installed snuggly to the back. Aesthetics are fantastic. The 30 L size seems great for day rides. I have not got caught in the rain yet but I’m sure it will be fine.

Luckily enough was able to grab the Overlander 48 litre in the Black Friday deals (absolutely fantastic annual sales event) for it undoubtedly on of the best motorcycle luggage bags on the Market, sturdy in construction, water proof and customizable with the ability to add Lone Riders many Molle Accessories to it. It may be A bit pricy for some but TBH your paying for both Quality and longevity.
Brent D.
The bag is was looking for! The Lone Rider 30L Overlander was the only choice for me! The quality along with its surprisingly spacious design accommodates all essentials, and the recent addition of elastic bands has enhanced its functionality further. The sturdy build and comfortable wear make it an ideal companion for any journey. Highly recommended for those seeking a reliable and adaptable backpack for their outdoor escapades or quick run to the store!
Zsolt S.
Another wonderful bag from LoneRider! Touring around The Middle East, driving through horrendous sandstorms, sometimes heavy rain.Everything is clean and dry inside!
The steel cord strap is highly recommended!

Love the 48 L Overlander bag. It holds quite a bit of camping gear Etc. Took it out for a test ride in the rain. No problems. Great bag.

livraison rapide et excellent service

Lovely robust feeling bag. I can't give 5/5 because they plastic insert is a good inch too big and does not fit in both velcro pockets. The bag is still functional with only 1 side of the insert in the pocket.

Perfect size, excellent materials, fast and easy mounting

Great product , well crafted and highly fuctional.

Pros: Extremely functional beaver tail compared to the competitors: easy waterproof access for travel documents at police checkpoints, separate compartment for a water bladder, and the beaver tail could cinch down to hold 1L water bottles and outerwear during a quick grocery shop. 100% Waterproof: don't even bother with "weather resistant" Patagonia duffle bags, since the Lone Rider moto bag doesn't require you to stop in the middle of a storm to put on a rain cover - everything stays dry with the roll top closure. Multiple lash points on the exterior allowed me to customize the tie-downs using my preferred Rok Straps, and add molle bags to the exterior for easy access to tools. Backpack straps are removable: the backpack straps it comes with are too stiff and too long for a short torso, so being able to change them out with more comfortable straps is a positive feature. The air valve helps with keeping it inflated to hold its shape, or deflate it to compress as small as possible. The 48 liters is a tad too long for airline carry-on even though it fit into every overhead bin short end first - a few airlines wanted me to check in the 48L bag. The 30 liter is a bit smaller but it's surprising how much it can carry. If you're undecided between sizes and will carry-on, do the 30L.
Cons: The plastic liner is removable, and it should be removed because it's an unnecessary extra 2+ pounds. I bought a big flexible white cutting board and use that instead to keep its shape. Even with a bright liner, the black fabric makes it harder to see inside, compared to a competitor's all-blue interior. That'd be great if the fabric came in a lighter color, especially since black overheats in the sun. Minor grip, but the side handles and the rolltop buckles overlap each other - sometimes I pull the bag by the buckles on accident, which loosens the slack for the rolltop.
Overall, still the best bag I've found. It's the best combination of a dry bag with functional and practical features.
Tarek M.
Best product, value for money and very durable and realible, very good service.
Well done

I love this bag, it's very versatile.

This bag holds significantly more than expected and fits well across back seat, plenty of mounting loops to strap down easily as well. Overall very satisfied.

Great bag, took some time to get use to them after changing from my hard luggage, but it is much lighter, bigger storage, and looks good. I was bought the rackless motobags as a retirement present, so the bought the overland to go with them. they are all brilliant, well happy.
Tony S.
Great product, great company!
The Overlander 30 is so versatile. I use it mainly for my camera, audio & drone. Quick harness is so convient. 4 clicks & it comes with me. Photo is of Central Queensland AUS. No dust or movement. It stays where you put it.
Bennart Z.
Amazing bag what is really easy to click on click of. On first sight you might think it’s too full with webbings but they are all in the right place and it just works really well.
Wouter v.
This bag is exactly what I required. A waterproof, easy to mount/dismount bag made from sturdy material.
