These straps really add to the functionality of the bag. They are great quality, comfortable and designed well. The crossover strap gives it better stability. I just used the 30L bad this weekend, moto camping. Everything is so well thought out. Other riders commented on the great look, the connection strap simplicity and the functionality. I was able to pack up my campsite, carry it out to the bike and strap it in, a good half hour before the rest were done. Just clip in and ride. The straps on the bag are just like a backpack. So I was able to carry all my equipment in both hands as well and the heaviest on my back, in one trip.

When I finally decided to use my Overlander bag on the DR650, I couldn't find the straps. Not only did Lone Rider send me a complete set, they sent them for free! Shipping included! So here are my two bikes, both with Lone Rider bags! I may sell the bikes, but I'm keeping the bags.

fantastic products. Got the overlander 48L, minibags. Just saving up to replace the pannies with the motobags. I forgot my straps attached for the overlander when i took it of and the straps got caught in the wheels. Wrote to Lone Rider and explained what i did. They just sent me new straps without charge. That makes me feel confident to keep being a customer.
Hope to get the motobags next year when i have Island and Norway planned.
